Da Couch Tomato Podcast Season 2 Episode 26, a.k.a. The Rundown 05. Ang three short reviews namin sa episode na ito ay: 1) The Banshees of Inisherin (2022) ni Martin McDonagh, and why it takes a smart actor to play a stupid character; 2) The Fabelmans (2022) ni Steven Spielberg, at kung paano nito na-inspire si Sting Lacson na magbalik sa filmmaking; at 3) Elvis (2022) ni Baz Luhrmann, at ang galing ng performance ni Austin Butler dahil hindi ito mukhang caricature.

Average ratings:
The Banshees of Inisherin: 8/10
The Fabelmans: 8.15/10

Da Couch Tomato Podcast Season 2 Episode 23, discussing Strange World.

Da Couch Tomato Podcast Season 2 Episode 21, discussing James Cameron's Avatar Remastered IMAX 3D. Nag-reminisce kami sa aming first movie date as a couple, way back in 2009.

Sting Lacson's rating : 7.8/10

Da Couch Tomato Podcast Season 2 Episode 19, discussing Bullet Train. 'Yung sinasabi ni Martin Scorsese na Marvel movies are more like theme park rides daw, tingin namin mas theme park ride ang Bullet Train.

Da Couch Tomato Podcast Season 2 Episode 18, discussing Thor: Love and Thunder. Isa 'yung tipo ng pelikula na from the start pa lang ay sinasabi na "Don't take us too seriously". Nagustuhan namin ang girl power themes, especially kina King Valkyrie at Jane Foster a.k.a. Mighty Thor.

Da Couch Tomato Podcast Season 2 Episode 16, discussing the latest Pixar film Lightyear. Pinag-usapan namin kung bakit tingin namin ito ang weakest Pixar film so far, at hindi namin alam kung dahil ba ito ay spin-off. We also talked about the most controversial part ng movie, which is the same-sex kiss (sa totoo lang, smack lang ito, pero ginawang big deal).

Da Couch Tomato Podcast Season 2 Episode 16, discussing Everything Everywhere All at Once, one of the better films about multiverses. Alam niyo ba na hindi ito ang unang pelikula with an Asian lead that talked about multiverses? Nauna ang The One starring Jet Li 21 years ago in 2001. Listen to the episode na lang kasi mahirap i-explain.

Da Couch Tomato Podcast Season 2 Episode 15, discussing Top Gun: Maverick, the sequel to the 1986 film Top Gun.

Da Couch Tomato Podcast Season 2 Episode 14, discussing the second film in the Doctor Strange franchise, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Sting Lacson's rating : 7/10
Rachel's rating: 7.5/10

Da Couch Tomato Podcast Season 2 Episode 13, discussing Uncharted, the first feature from PlayStation Productions.

Sting Lacson's rating : 7.6/10
Rachel's rating: 7.4/10

Da Couch Tomato Podcast Season 2 Episode 12, discussing Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. Sana all. Oh well.

Da Couch Tomato Podcast Season 2 Episode 11, discussing The Batman.

Sting Lacson's rating : 8.2/10
Rachel's rating: 7.9/10

Da Couch Tomato Podcast Season 2 Episode 10, a.k.a. The Rundown 04. At ang three short reviews namin sa episode na ito ay: 1) The Power of the Dog (2021) ni Jane Campion, at bakit na-disappoint si Sting Lacson na hindi ito masyadong katulad ng Red Dead Redemption; 2) Drive My Car (2021) ni Ryusuke Hamaguchi, and kung bakit mahalaga kay Rachel ang smooth driving; at 3) Turning Red (2022) ni Domee Shi, at kung bakit dapat alam ng mga tatay ang tunkgol sa pagkakaroon ng period.

Average ratings:
The Power of the Dog: 8.1/10

Average ratings:
Licorice Pizza: 7.7/10

Da Couch Tomato Podcast Season 2 Episode 8, discussing Spider-Man: No Way Home. Nagustuhan din namin na the use of all three actors who played Spider-Man on the big screen ay na-pull off nang maayos, and hindi naging gimik lang para kumita ng pera. Also, bakit nga ba kami nalungkot sa nangyari kay Aunt May?

Sting Lacson's rating: 8.6/10
Rachel's rating: 8.7/10

Average ratings:
Ghostbusters: Afterlife: 7.05/10
